In an effort to broaden the impact of our department on the Tucson community we have put together a Physics Outreach Team tasked with inspiring a community interest in STEM. Most importantly, we aim to provide resources to local students which may help them get a head start on developing their STEM identities.

We provide students with:

Live Physics Demonstrations

Physics Laboratory Tours

Hands-on Physics Activities

 

We can offer any combination of the above services, depending on what you think your students will enjoy most.
